The shots of Harley locking lips with another woman came just days after he was last spotted getting intimate with Emily Weir, who plays Mac, suggesting that both women will be objects of his affection at the same time. Luke filmed his first scenes in mid-October, meaning we’re expecting him to make his first appearance in early 2022. Paparazi photos taken by The Wash at Sydney’s Palm Beach show Luke filming a number of scenes alongside Nicholas Cartwright and Sam Frost , as well as fellow newcomer Kirsty Marillier . As for Matthew’s fate, well, James Sweeny hasn’t been spotted filming at Sydney’s Palm Beach, the real-life home of Summer Bay, over the past few months, suggesting he isn’t going to wake up alive in the back of the boot. Bree is Summer Bay's newest doctor, who takes over running the local hospital's emergency department, following the departure of Logan Bennett . Godwin said her character is "ready for a fresh start" and finds the Bay to be the perfect place to do that. Justin Harp of Digital Spy said Bree was billed as "laid-back, kind and caring", but she is hiding something beneath her "bubbly demeanour". Godwin also described her as having a "heart of gold" and being "a surfer chick". As Bree settles into the Bay, her past and secrets are slowly revealed to the other residents.

All characters are introduced by the soap's executive producer, Lucy Addario. Xander Delaney was introduced at the end of March, followed shortly after by his sibling Rose Delaney in early April and PK at the end of the month. Lyrik band members Bob Forsyth, Kirby Aramoana, Remi Carter, and Eden Fowler made their debuts in July. Rob Kipa-Williams hasn’t seen spotted by fans or paparazzi filming exterior scenes for a number of months, nor has he posted any behind the scenes videos on social media, something he used to frequently do. For all he is clearly a very good player, with potential to be a great one, he has not reached the position where he is breaking childhood record upon record. This is your final warning before we spill spoilers about the latest episode. Viewers in the UK were surprised to find out that the show is taking a winter break before it comes back with new episodes. The show usually drops a number of promos across the Christmas break, gradually feeding us more glimpses of the year to come, and we’ll be keeping Back to the Bay up to date throughout the next two months with any new spoilers. The short clip showed James Stewart , Sam Frost , Shane Withington and Nicholas Cartwright seemingly on a break between filming, as extras and cast members stand around. Back in October, a cast member posted an Instagram video of a scene being filmed in the Paratas’ garden, which was later reposted by Sam Frost.
A new promo aired after the final episode, showing happy times ahead for many of our Summer Bay favourites. However, there was a shock in store for one resident, as a blast from their past showed up. It started out fairly tame – beginning with a chilli-eating challenge – before slowly gathering pace. Before long, their videos began to take off on social media, and the viral sensations had to get creative to come up with challenges sufficiently exciting to keep their fickle fans entertained. The show comes to an end in a huge season finale which sees Ryder buried alive, Theo knocked unconscious, and a murder that nobody expected. It now takes its usual summer break, and will likely return to Australian screens in late January or early February next year.

In Ireland, Home and Away debuted on Monday, 3 October as part of RTÉ's re-launch of RTÉ2 as Network 2 - their secondary channel. Episodes screened at 6.30pm and in September 1997, a daytime episode was added at 1.25pm on RTÉ One with the 6.30pm episode becoming the replay of the daytime broadcast. Viewers in the Republic of Ireland are also able to catch up with episodes on the RTÉ Player. It was the most watched program of 2014 on the RTÉ Player with over four million viewers.
It seems that we’re soon going to be delving more into Theo’s upbringing very soon, with spoilers for next week indicating that Theo will be recalling his “traumatic past”. There’s been little mention of Dimitri since then, but the recent arrival of his son, Theo , brought him back into the minds of viewers. It was revealed that Theo and his father didn’t get along, and Dimitri kicked Theo out after discovering that he had been defrauding the customers of his car garage.
Home and Away is currently on its Christmas break in Australia and will return on 9th January 2022. 124 classic episodes of Home and Away have been added to 7Plus in Australia, celebrating births, weddings, deaths and tragedies from the past 35 years. A new Home and Away promo gives us our first look at Leah’s injuries after she and Justin are driven off the road in the 2023 season return. "But she needed to be with her family and the producers being clever and smart and certainly compassionate, said 'You go and do what you need to do Sam, the door is open for you to come back and we'd love you to come back'." Long-term Home and Away star Lynne McGranger, who plays Irene Roberts, has told Nova's Fitzy and Wippa that Sam might be able to come back to the soap after all, adding that the actress has now been vaccinated against COVID-19.
